If I am offered a job after the course I will probably take it because experience counts and I can top up to a degree after working.
In an interview, show work that the interviewer will want to see, that relates to their business, the best designer doesn’t always get the job.
Email and post your CV then phone to see if it has been received, if you really want an interview.
Clients are hard people to work with and sometimes they need to be told no that isn’t possible, the customers not usually right!

I agrea with your point about not always the best designer gets the job, i think to join DM you would need a wide veriaty of skills, but if you got in it would be great experiance.
